Eligibility Criteria for the University of Arkansas Scholarships

To qualify for the University of Arkansas scholarships, students must meet specific criteria. Additionally, the university awards various academic scholarships to incoming freshmen.

The selection criteria for these scholarships include national test scores (ACT or SAT), grade-point average, National Merit or National Achievement recognition, quality and quantity of courses taken, application materials, and other pertinent factors.

Furthermore, transfer student scholarships are available to those transferring from two-year colleges in Arkansas in conjunction with the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges’ (AATYC) Academic All-Star program.

This is an offer that provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing their education at the University of Arizona. Eligible students will receive up to $8,000 per year to cover the direct cost of education, which includes tuition fees, fees for various educational services, and a double-occupancy room and board.

Students who choose to live in either the UA residence hall or Greek housing will also be provided with financial assistance to cover their accommodation and food expenses.

#5. New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship Award

This financial aid is for TX, MS, LA, KS, MO, OK, or TN students. Entering freshmen must have at least a 3.20 GPA and score 24 on the ACT or an equivalent 1090 SAT critical reading and math combined or an equivalent 1160 SAT; Transfer students must have 24 credit hours and at least a 3.00 GPA.
